Fuzzy and predictive control of a photovoltaic pumping system based on three-level boost converter

چکیده
In this work, an efficient control scheme for a double stage pumping system is proposed. On the DC side, three-level boost converter employed to maximize photovoltaic power and step-up DC-link voltage. For maximum point tracking, classical incremental conductance method substituted by fuzzy logic controller. The designed controller estimates optimal step size which speeds up tracking process improves accuracy of extracted power. Afterwards, voltages across (TLBC) capacitors are balanced phase shifting applied duty ratios. motor pump two-level inverter drives with cascaded nonlinear predictive control. preferred over conventional field-oriented because it accelerates torque response resists change engine parameters. controllers evaluated using MATLAB/Simulink, compared (incremental algorithm control). robust entire has increased hydraulic 23% during start-up 10% in steady state.
